Final four miles of Iowa 100 extension in Linn County to open Wednesday, Dec. 12

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced the opening of the final four miles of the Iowa 100 extension in Linn County at approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018.
The extension completes the beltway around the Cedar Rapids metro area. The project was broken into two phases with phase one (Edgewood Road to Covington Road) open in December of 2016, and phase two now ready to open. A ceremonial ribbon cutting and bicycle ride for phase two was held on Dec. 1.
