What: The Iowa Department of Transportation will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of four-lane U.S. 20 in Iowa, with a reception hosted by the U.S. Highway 20 Corridor Association following at 4 p.m.

When: Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at 3 p.m.

Where: The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at Boulders Inn and Suites Event Center, 2011 Indorf Avenue, Holstein, Iowa. Following the ribbon cutting, the reception will take place under a tent adjacent to Boulders Inn and Suites.

Scheduled Speakers: Governor Kim Reynolds, Lt. Governor Adam Gregg, Congressman Steve King, Iowa DOT Director Mark Lowe, U.S. 20 Corridor Association President Shirley Phillips, and Iowa Transportation Commissioner Charese Yanney will speak with Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst recognized during the ribbon cutting. A variety of key project stakeholders will speak during the reception.

Parking: Public parking will be available in a field adjacent to Boulders Inn and Suites to the south and east of the building. Volunteers will guide guests with a trolley available to transport passengers between the parking area and the event. Persons from Holstein and areas north of the community are asked to park at the Lohff Schuman Memorial Community Center, 301 Lohff-Schuman Drive. A Siouxland Regional Transit System shuttle will transport guests across U.S. 20 to and from this parking area.
