Changing traffic patterns on U.S. 75 north of Merrill in Plymouth County begin June 4

A reconstruction project to grade and replace pavement on U.S. 75 in Plymouth County from north of Merrill to south of Le Mars requires closing the northbound lanes and shifting traffic to a head-to-head traffic pattern in each direction on the existing southbound lanes beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, June 4, until Tuesday, Sept. 4, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 3 Office.
- Plymouth County Road C-38 will be closed at the intersection with U.S. 75 and will reopen after construction is complete.
- Traffic on Plymouth County Road C-38 will be detoured around the closure at U.S. 75.
Cedar Valley Corp. was awarded the $8.2 road construction project.
