Iowa Farm Bureau Scholarships

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), and many of its 100 county Farm Bureaus, offer a variety of state (IFBF)- and local-level scholarships for students pursuing higher education.

The following scholarship opportunities are available each academic year:

IFBF State Scholarships – Up to $10,000 Per Recipient

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) awards 27 graduating Iowa high school students—three from each of IFBF’s nine districts—a $2,500 scholarship. The scholarship is renewable up to four years, for a total potential award of $10,000 per recipient.

Each of IFBF’s 100 county Farm Bureaus selects one application from its county to be considered for IFBF’s state scholarship.

To qualify for renewal, recipients must continue to meet the scholarship requirements each year.

Local County Farm Bureau Scholarships

Many of Iowa’s 100 county Farm Bureaus offer local scholarship programs. Availability and scholarship amounts vary by county.
