In 2008 the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation will award 54 $1000 scholarship awards to students pursuing the completion of a two - or four-year degree.
Six district winners will be selected in each of the nine Iowa Farm Bureau Federation districts for Fall 2007 tuition awards. Click here to read the rules for applying for this scholarship.

RURAL FAMILY MEDICINE SCHOLARSHIPS |
|
|
The Iowa Academy of Family Physicians Foundation (IAFPF) Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship in Family Medicine seeks to encourage residents, after graduating from an Iowa family medicine residency program, to pursue a medical career in Iowa communities under 10,000 population. Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.

RUTH B. SAYRE SCHOLARSHIP |
|
|
The Country Women’s Council (CWC) offers the Ruth B. Sayre Scholarships for the purpose of fostering educational development of women. Scholarship awards of $500 shall be paid to the educational institution where is student recipient is attending.
The 2008 Ruth B. Sayre scholarship application instructions have been revised by the CWC.
The deadline for sending in the completed application to IFBF is March 24, 2008.

TEACHER SUPPLEMENT GRANTS |

The Iowa Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom program is offering teacher supplements up to $200 for use in classroom programs that promote agricultural literacy. Priority will be given to grants requesting books, field trip costs, visual aids and videos.

The Dean Kleckner Global Agriculture Scholarships offer exciting opportunities for donors to have far-reaching impact on the future of agriculture.
Contributions will be accepted from individuals and county and state Farm Bureaus who wish to donate to the scholarship.
Prospective donors may wish to consider pledges as a way to honor family members and organization leaders, as well as commemorative occasions such as retirements and anniversaries.
