The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) last week donated $5,000 each to wildfire relief funds set up by the Farm Bureaus in Kansas and Oklahoma. The donations will be used to aid relief efforts in those states for farmers who were hit by devastating wildfires in March. The IFBF donations are on top of cash donations by several county Farm Bureaus in Iowa, as well as donations of hay, fencing and other needed materials from many Iowa farmers.

"As farmers, we always look out for our neighbors," said Craig Hill, IFBF president. "These cash donations, along with the donations by Farm Bureau members of hay, fencing and other materials, are a way we can help our neighbors in other states who are going through significant hardship because of the wildfires."
